Healthy Dalia Pizza Base Recipe | Whole Wheat & Broken Wheat Crust

Who says pizza can’t be nourishing? This dalia pizza base reinvents the world’s favorite comfort food by blending the nutty flavor of broken wheat with the lightness of whole wheat flour. The result is a crust that’s crisp yet wholesome, carrying all the charm of pizza with added goodness.


Ingredients:

• 1 cup dalia (broken wheat)

• 1/2 cup wheat flour

• 1/2 cup warm water

• 1 tsp active dry yeast

• 1 tsp sugar

• 2 tbsp olive oil

• 1 tsp salt

• 1/2 tsp oregano

Method:

1. Soak dalia in warm water for 30 minutes, drain

2. Mix yeast, sugar in little warm water, let it foam

3. Grind soaked dalia coarsely, mix with wheat flour, salt, oregano

4. Add yeast mixture, oil, knead into soft dough

5. Let it rise for 1 hour

6. Roll into pizza base, bake at 200°C for 10 minutes

7. Add toppings, bake 15 minutes more

Result: Crispy, nutty, fiber-rich pizza base that's way healthier than regular dough
